Uncle Elmer had a wonderful positive attitude wherever he went and made sure you were wearing a smile before anyone left. Elmer was of excellent character and will be missed by all. I may add that he was an excellent gardener and had a green thumb. Though words cannot express the thoughts the heart would like to say, Still, may you know that others care and sympathize today. With Deepest Sympathy and Love, Sue Michalski, Mark Stanley, and Jeff Stanley Family (Jeff, Diana, and Jennifer)

I knew Elmer as an avid volleyball player at Madison Turners and have played with/against him for many years. He had a VERY effective serve and I have never met anyone with more enthusiasm for the sport or for life. He was always there and ready to play every week until just recently when he was too ill to attend. Elmer has been a real inspiration for me personally and I think I speak for all of us at Madison Turners who knew him when i see say that he will be deeply missed.

I will miss Elmer!! He taught me how to play volleyball and we played the game together for the last few years at Turner hall. Last year when the courts needed some repairs, he just showed up with his tools, repair materials, glue gun, little step ladder and with my bumbling assistance, fixed up the problems. He was a super guy.
