Obituary

MADISON-Michael Hall, age 70, of Madison, passed away on Jan. 2, 2013. He was born on July 18, 1942, the son of Elmer J. and Ruth (Mindrum) Hall. Michael graduated from Madison East High School in 1960. He served four years in the United States Air Force from 1964 until 1968, at the McCord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Wash. during the Vietnam War. Michael married Darcy Schwoegler on Aug. 10, 1968, in Madison. He worked at AT&T for 43 years as a communications technician. Michael was a grill master who loved photography and computers. We will remember him for his incredible intelligence, creativity, and unending love for his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Darcy; daughters, Laura (David) Johnson and Jennifer Baker; grandchildren, Brandi, David (DJ), and Nathaniel Johnson; sister, Kathy Hall, and brother, Gary Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Hall; and grandmother, Florence Mindrum. A Memorial Service for Michael will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2012, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to Agrace HospiceCare. Sorry to hear of Mikes passing. We worked with Mike at AT&T when he hired on until we retired. Mike was always willing to help anyone who was stuck with a problem at work. Mike knew what he was doing and it made life easier for the rest of us. Again sorry for your lose. Joe & Karla
