Dear Jim, Susan & Jay,
I was so sorry to read of your wife and mother's pasing this morning. I have to be out of town until Monday and would have made her service to see all of you. I didn't know she was living in Madison where I have been since my college days. My family left Stevens Point along time ago, but I never forgot the fun I had babysitting for your family and how many books we used to read before bedtime. I would like to see you both... all grown up,
Take comfort in this time of grief that your mother was a kind and giving person.

Jim & Family,
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Marge. May God help you at this time of sorrow by remembering all the great memories. We have missed her smiling face in our neigborhood.

As the current Portage County Clerk I want to share my respect for Marge. When I first started with the County as the Deputy County Clerk in January of 1976, Marge was an inspiration as I watched her develop and lead the County Board as the first woman in the world of many male supervisors. She truly made a difference in my career because she continually encouraged me-even after she was no longer on the Board-but when I would just run in to her on the street. What a wonderful role model she was for many of us. Thank you for sharing her with our community.

Jim, Please accept our deepest sympathy on the death of your dear wife. Even though we have not met, we feel a bond as we now live in your beautiful twin home in Stevens Pont. We are enjoying the wonderful neighborhood and the many nice features you put into the house. May you find God's grace very real in your life as you walk through these difficult days.

Dear Jim and Family, We had the great pleasure of having Marge for a neighbor in Park Ridge for many years. Her enthusiasm for life, her intelligence and hardy laugh are top on our list of memories. May your special memories comfort you now and know that we care and send our blessings.
