I am so sorry to read that my classmate from River Valley, Mary Lou has passed away. I just remember that she liked to have fun. I remember being in Home Ec with her and learning to sew and cook. Rest in Peace, Mary Lou.

Mary Lou loved the little things, especially sending birthday cards filled with confetti, and choosing small items for others on her shopping trips to St. Vinnie's. She also collected books on spiritual topics as well as crochet patterns and books. She was a special friend and a person of prayer. We love you, Mary Lou.

Mary Lou was the first cousin on the Bauer side. I was second in the group of 28 grandchildren I believe. I remember the Christmas get-togethers that were always held and were so very special. I saw Mary Lou at the St. Dennis Festival a few years ago at the Flea Market. I am pretty sure she had a bag of treasures that she had found. She told me she loved to read and if I ever wanted a book to read, to give her a call. I also saw her at the same festival at Bingo. We were at the same table and played a couple of games. I pray that Mary Lou is at peace and that God Blesses her deeply.

I knew Mary Lou through St. Paul's Prayer Group. She was a wonderful woman who had a great sense of humor and wasn't afraid to be herself no matter what others thought. She loved to give to others and even when she was very ill, she was willing to share books, holy cards, or anything else she had. May God grant her perpetual rest.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your sister/aunt. I went to River Valley with Mary Lou and we remained in contact for years and then lost touch. I also worked with her at Woody's restaurant what seemed like a hundred years ago! We had a lot of laughs together and she wrote me many comforting letters. She had a strong faith.
I just remember her smile!
God bless you all and may HE bring you comfort at this difficult time.
