I am so sorry for your families loss. I know it has been years since I have seen your family, I remember how funny Neil was and how much of a great guy he was. I know he was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Hugs and good thoughts to your family in this time of need and always.

I took my car to Neal for service on a regular basis when he was employed at JCP Auto Center at West Towne. He treated me with such respect and gave me an education about car care when I was a young and single girl. He was a wonderful technician who knew his business and cared for his clients. Later I had occasion to do business with him at Middleton Alignment. I've never had a nicer, more trustworthy man work on my vehicle and am so sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family at this very sad and difficult time.

I remember Neal & the Vendon family well. I thought they were all pretty terrific people. I knew his wife of course and his daughter used to cut my hair. It's sad to lose someone who was a part of your life while growing up. When I drive down Branch Street, I think about the Vendons and the others who'd lived there. Jo Ann Woodford
