Victor Furman

MADISON-Victor W. Furman, age 64, passed away on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at UW Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1948, in Binghamton, N.Y., the son of Walter H. and Isabella Furman. Victor was involved with REM Wisconsin for more than 20 years. He enjoyed photography, loved to talk, and spend time with others. Victor will be remembered for always being happy and having a smile on his face. He is survived by his brothers, Chuck (Oyuna) Furman and Greg (Ann) Furman; sister, Alice Tangredi; nephews, Dan (Dawn) Tangredi, Derek, Alec, and Jared Furman; niece, Elayna Furman; and a great-nephew, Dominick Tangredi. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held at MONONA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 606 Nichols Road, Madison, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. Visitation will be held at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Inurnment will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Beloit at a later date.
