Georgean Brink

MADISON-Georgean Brink passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. She was born on Dec. 2, 1916, in the town of Rutland, the daughter of John and Marie Nygaard. On Aug. 24, 1940, Georgean married Paul Brink at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Madison. She was a graduate of Columbia County Normal School and Edgewood College. Georgean retired from teaching in the Madison schools in 1983. Georgean is survived by her daughter, Mary Georgean; son, Gary Paul; grandchildren, Paul Daniel and Haley Danielle Brink; and great-grandson, Brayden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and sisters, Inger Onaager, Martha Campbell, Josephine Flint, and Ann Nygaard. A Mass of Christian Burial for Georgean will be celebrated at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Cemetery: Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
