Mary Gruber

MIDDLETON-Mary Jo Gruber, age 72, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on September 24, 1939 in Madison, the daughter of Lew and Mary Gruber. Mary Jo loved life and enjoyed beading, going for car rides, shopping, going out to eat, helping others and seeing her friends at church. She liked to sing and participate in music especially for the Very Special Arts programs. Mary Jo is survived by her sister Susan, a brother -in-law, Stan Klyve and many nieces and nephews, Paul (Brenda) Gruber, Blake, Chase, Ashlyn; Anne (Kelly) Campbell, Corrie, Ben; Philip (Becky) Gruber, Jimmy and Lily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lew and Mary Gruber and a brother, Jon Gruber. Funeral services will be held at ADVENT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7118 Old Sauk Road, Madison at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 Am until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Prairie du Sac Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Very Special Arts, Advent Lutheran Church or to Agrace HospiceCare. The family wishes to thank her wonderful caregivers; the Palliative Care staff at Meriter and to incredible staff of Agrace HospiceCare. Cemetery: Burial will be in Prairie du Sac Cemetery.
