Rick Alan Hoesly

BLACK EARTH/MAITLAND, FL-Rick Alan Hoesly age 49 passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 31, 2012 at his Black Earth home. He was born on August 21, 1963 in Madison, the son of Herman (Bill) and Joan (Voelkli) Hoesly. In 1982 Rick graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School in Mazomanie. He served in the Army National Guard as a Fire Control Specialist. Rick attended Wisconsin School of Electronics and had worked in that field for various Madison area companies. Rick and his brother Kim owned and ran Alliance Marketing for 16 years in Maitland, FL. Rick enjoyed fishing, hiking and photographing the outdoors. Rick was a man of many talents. He was able to look at something, figure it out and see how to improve it. His skills and knowledge spanned from finance to carpentry. Rick was an awesome person. He was a very giving person and always ready to jump in and help. He devoted this past year taking care of our mother during the last year of her life. He is survived by his siblings, Debbie (Donald) Mueller of Mt. Horeb, WI Kim Hoesly of Maitland, FL Melinda (George) Heathcote of Mazomanie, WI; Nieces and nephews, Fritz (Michelle) Mueller of Vail, AZ., Dax (Samantha Riha) Mueller of Hollandale,WI Rose, George III, Elizabeth, Annie, Gibson Heathcote all of Mazomanie,WI along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and stillborn twin brother Todd. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton beginning at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2012, where a time of sharing remembrances will begin at 4:00 PM with fellowship and food to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to family to be distributed to the causes Rick was passionate about. We will all remember Rick for his humor, wit and smile that not only lit up his face but made all of us smile and laugh even through the pain. We love you and will miss you.
