Hinz, Brian G. DEFOREST-Brian G. Hinz, age 52, of DeForest, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at UW Hospital in Madison, following life threatening injuries. He was born on May 2, 1960, the son of August and Shirley Hinz. He attended East High School. Brian was united in marriage to Rena Harrison on Nov. 10, 1978. He worked alongside his father at Adorn Improvers for over 30 years. Brian enjoyed deer hunting, being outdoors and loved country music, especially Shania Twain. His greatest moments were with his grandchildren. Brian is survived by his wife, Rena; daughters, Tina (Kim Pavlat) Spahn and her children, Nathan and Jordan, Jennifer Hinz and her children,Callie, Alexa and Braylee; son, Jason (Emily) Hinz and their children, Ella, Cadience and Myles; his parents; brothers, Daniel (Chris) Hinz, Kevin (Stacy) Hinz, David (Sherry Harrison) Hinz; and sister, Sheila Hinz-Statz (Bob Statz); and godchild, Tyler Statz; and nieces and nephew, Terra, Landon, Mikayla, Justin, Shelby and Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul; and nephew, Dominic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. OLAF’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 623 Jefferson Street, DeForest, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass on Sunday. A special thank you to the multiple fire departments and first responders who responded to our emergency and also to the UW Hospital Burn Unit for all their compassion and care. Memorials can be made to the Hinz Family Recovery Fund and can be dropped off at any Anchor Bank location or mailed to: DeForest Anchor Bank, 601 S. Main Street, DeForest, WI 53532. We will miss his laughter!

I knew Brian as a teenager. His older brothers Dan and Kevin were in my wedding in 1977. Brian and Rena were together even back then. My thoughts and prayers go out the the entire Hinz family. Godspeed Brian!

I am so very sorry for the lost of Brian.
My heart goes out to Rena and all his children and grandchildren. May God bless the ones that were left behind to deal with this pain.Brian is is in a much better place, only if we all knew. Please be a peace all of you.. someday we will all join at the same heavenly place. God Bless you Brian you will be missed by so many people.
