To the family of Jim Knickmeyer: I have worked at the UW Madison for 37 years and over the years have had numerous work related conversations with Jim. Although I didn't know him real well, I was always impressed with his personality and willingness to be helpful. I thought of him as a true gentleman. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My sympathies.
