Obituary
MADISON-Charleen A. Hermanson, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, after a short illness. She was born on April 4, 1932, in Madison, the daughter of Charles and Inga (Waller) Hermanson. Charleen was a legal secretary for Attorney Robert Voss for 34 years and worked for Voss Management for 11 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, reading mystery stories, and casino trips. Charleen is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Clark; three grandchildren, Nicholas Kopmeyer, Melissa and Jacob Clark; three great-grandchildren, Novalee Kopmeyer and Alleigha and Bailey Clark; two sisters, Marilyn (Adolph) Falk of Poynette and Janice (Duane) Moore of LaCrosse; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, LaVonne Pfeifer. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 2 P.M. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. Charleen was a fun, kind, caring, generous person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her special cousin, Sonja Albright, with whom she was best friend, traveling companion, and genealogy assistant.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the time of service on Saturday.
