Betty Sturdevant

MADISON- Betty Jane Sturdevant, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Columbia Health Care in Wyocena. She was born on Dec. 18, 1934, in Madison, the daughter of Myrlin and Ruth (Moorhous) Tourdot. Betty graduated from Edgerton High School. She was a hardworker and always had a clean house. Betty was excellent at cooking, as well as gardening. What she loved most was spending time with family and friends and shopping. Betty is survived by her children, Patricia Harrison, Steve Sturdevant (Birdie), Dale (Mary) Sturdevant and Mark (Tammy) Sturdevant; brother, Roger (Barbara) Tourdot; and many loving grandchildren, Missy, Rickie, Matt, Jessica, Ross, Sara and Michael; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Cemetery: Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
