I can't say how sorry I was when I heard that you lost Sam. I can't imagine the pain and the long path of grief that you must follow in order to recover. I remember when you were pregnant with him, Peggy, and we were just becoming friends back in 1980. We were young and bursting to grow in our young adulthood. You called him Sam even then. Those were full and heady year and I, for one, have been so glad to have had them. Please, I mean it, let me know if there is anything I can do for you-- I didn't get to know him well--I admired his shy good looks, his gentleness, and excellent athletics. Fighting through the tangles and troubles of youth and adulthood must have been difficult for him. Let us hope his spirit continues to sail through those snowy, breath-taking mountains finding peace. God bless you and your family. Always, Jacki

My heart goes out to the Falkenstein family in this time of great grief. The Lord is watching over all of you and has your loved one by his side now. God has a special plan and it is never easy when someone is taken from us. He must need some strong Angels working for Him above. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Leah Brisky

I will miss your smile Sam. You were a great friend to have growing up. I have been praying for you and your family. I hope that your wings are soaring over the mountains and that your family is comforted by your peace. I will always remember our adventures on Lake Wisconsin boating, jet skiing, and the famous rope swing. I thank you for taking me to home coming. We made a great couple:)Rest in peace my friend.

Please accept my condolences. May you rely on the God of all comfort during this difficult time. (1Corinthians 1:3,4) God promises that one day we will not suffer from sickness or death (Isaiah 33:34 and Reveliation 21:3,4)He also provides us with the hope of seeing our loved ones again by means of the resurrection (Hosea 13:14 and John 5:28,29) We can trust this promise because God has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he resurrected him from the dead.(Acts 17:31) "Him" is Jesus Christ.

Growing up with Sam and knowing him since 3rd Grade I have many memorize of him, that I will cherish forever! Hanging out on the lake jet skiing and the rope swing were always wonderful times! To Sam's family, I am very sorry for your loss. To Sam I hope you have found peace, it sounds like you had gone through quite a battle of sickness, and now you can rest. I am so sorry to hear this terribly sad news...
