Always smiling with words of encouragement. That is how I will remember your mother. I still read the poems and short articles from the book she wrote, all about her family. A woman of many colors. My love to you all.

Rita came to my store (Suzen Sez) many years ago and we featured her wonderful book at an open house -"The Glass House". I am re-reading my copy and the poem Was It Worth It seems so fitting now. She was an amazing person and I feel so blessed to have had her touch my life, even tho it was so briefly. My sincerest thoughts of sympathy are with you and your family.

Ms. Britt apparently followed Steven Covey's rules - Begin with the end in mind... The obituary was a beautiful testament to a life well lived. Such a loss for you all!

there was no person that was more real than Rita. She had a huge heart that welcomed the world and all it had to offer her. Her existence was filled with smiles and sun beams, always. She will be deeply missed here on earth, but heaven awaits the shining new interior decorator. God be with the children and grandchildren of Rita. She raised 3 wonderful children ! Ted & Shirley

Could listen to your Mom talk for hours--- Always an excellent time when we would get together at Otto's with my friend Shirley sister, niece and her.Just loved her accent and great personality like no other.My heart goes out to all of you. Very beautiful obituary she would have been so proud. HUGS to all.
