Robert Vejvoda,

STOUGHTON- Robert C. Vejvoda, age 74, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, July 21 2012 at home. He was born on Oct. 9, 1937, in Chicago, Ill. Robert was united in marriage to Jackie Dean on Oct. 15, 1955 in Chicago, Ill. Together they made Stoughton their home on March 4, 1977. Robert is survived by his wife, Jackie; three children, Robert “Bob” R. (fiancé, Becky Wompler), Alan S. (Patti Jo) and Debra L. (Allan) Bakken; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa (Tim) Gable, William, Alex (Brianna) and Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Haylee Vejvoda and Zachary and Evelyn Gable; a brother, Terry (Patty); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Frank. Robert’s family will be holding a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. “Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free I’m following the path God laid for me. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief, Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.” In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Robert’s family will be holding a private memorial service.
