I have so many memories of my dad, but most of all, he loved everyone, loved to spend time with his family. He loved the Lord and loved to tell people about it.

Erling had a big impact on my life and family's. He opened his home to us for bible studies, fellowship, and encouragement - what a blessing. I think often of the fishing trips to Candada and Erling's smoked Northerns (they didn't taste very good but it sure was fun) and other adventures. He and his familiy had a great impact on our lives and many others. He is with his Lord and savior now.

I am very sorry for your loss of Mr. Erling B. Linnerud. I know this must be a tough time for you, at times like this encouragement can be found in God's word the Bible. There we read of the many Promises that Jehovah God makes to us. In Revelation 21:4, there he promises to do away with pain, suffering, and death. And in John 5:28,29, we have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again. Living forever on a paradise earth.(Psalms 37:11,29) I hope this has brought you some much needed comfort.

We are so thankful for Erling. Over 40 years ago he cared enough to share his newfound faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his testimony Joan was led to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. Virgil also was saved. There are 33 people in our immediate family impacted by that one act of faith. Thank you Erling. Vicky and Jeanne, Gerry and Jamie you were blessed to have him as Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. You will miss him. As will we and many others. He was a man of courage and strength. And maybe a little bit of Norwegian stubborness in there as well.
