Sorry I can't be there. I am so thankful to have had the time to be with Grandpa. We were able to say "goodbye" and "I love you" to each other before he could no longer say anything. I feel so fortunate I was able to do this. I usually miss family events and milestones, but thanks to Peter I was given this time. It was a priceless gift. Thank you mom for facilitating my relationship over the years with Grandpa, for it was truly special. He didn't always come across as a loving man but he had a loving caring side that would come out every so often when he was encouraged to reveal it. I saw it and for that I am grateful. It does not escape me that I was lucky to see that side of him. May he forever rest in peace. I hope everyone in Grandpa's family finds peace too. I heard him say "God's love is as big as the ocean". I also heard him say he was "not going to be around much longer" and he was going to be "pushing daisies" by the time his birthday comes around. All of this reveals he was ready to go. I love Grandpa and I will miss Grandpa. Thanks be to God. (Stephanie has lived in Boston for the last 19 years).

So long Dad. Rest in peace.

My prayers and condolences are with the family. Myron you were dearly loved and respected. You lived a long live and now may your rest be sweet.

I'm sorry to see that Myron has died. I used to deliver noon Meals on Wheels to him on occasion and he was such a sweet and gentle man.
