We had the pleasure of meeting Emily on several occasions over the years and remember her beautiful smile and welcoming manner. As she shines down on her family from heaven, she can do so knowing she raised wonderful children in her lovely image and likeness. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Uncle George,
I was saddened to hear of Emily's passing. Although I didn't know her very well, I'm sure she will be dearly missed by all those who did. (She had to be special ...she was your wife). My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Keep your memories close to your heart.
Love Marva (Steven) Squires Ott and family (2nd oldest child of Marvin)

I had the honor and privilege of getting to know Grandma Em and her family over the past year and a half. I simply cannot think of a woman more dedicated to her family or a person more loved by those around her. Grandparents have the remarkable ability to positively transform the lives of those around them and from the stories and personal interactions I had, it is obvious Grandma Em made a wonderful life-long impact on many of those around her. While she may not have always been able to vocalize it, I know she understood the positive things happening around her and I will treasure the happy moments Sarah and I were able to spend with her.

Peg, Pat, Margie, and Monte,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through the next few days and weeks. It is so hard to lose your mom but the good memories will be your comfort along with God wrapping His loving arms around you. Your mom was a very sweet lady. I will always remember her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes, along with her friendship with my mom. I always laugh when I make her cake recipe that my mom gave me. The name is great tasting cake via Emily via Barbara. I asked her about the name and she said Emily says the real name is (Better than Sex) Cake but we decided to not write that down! I can still see the two of them discussing that name and giggling and I smile:)Do you know which cake? Your mom's greatest blessing for all was the way she always lived her faith and beliefs. That will give you a peace in your heart knowing that she is now living with Jesus in heaven.
Deepest sympathy,
Kay Emery Koenitzer
