I am sorry for your loss. May you rely on the God of all comfort during this time. He is near to those broken at heart and those crushed in spirit he saves (Psalm 34:18) He promises that one day we will not suffer from sickness and death (Isaiah 33:24 and Revelation 21:3,4) We also have the hope of seeing our loved ones again by means of the resurrection (Isaiah 26:19 and John 5:28,29)We can trust these promises because it is impossible for God to lie (Titus 1:2)

I am very sorry to hear of your loss...I remember Jim giving me such a hard time...but he always did it with a smirk on his face.
