I took Communion to Joan at Four Winds Assisted Living and Willow Pointe. I so enjoyed her beautiful smile. When she was at Willow Pointe, in spite of her memory loss, when I would hold the host up to her, she would get so excited. She knew what that was and truly cherished being able to receive Communion. Her beautiful smile and love for the Eucharist was very heartwarming.
