Cobbins, Annie Jean MADISON-Annie Jean Cobbins, age 55, of Madison (formerly of Chicago, Ill.), passed away on Tuesday , May 22, 2012, at her home. She was born on Dec. 30, 1956, in Isola, Miss., the daughter of Ella B. Cobbins and Annie B. Wilson. Annie graduated from Jean Baptiste DuSable High School in Chicago. She worked for the City of Chicago in the Park District for many years. Annie enjoyed music, concerts, festivals, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Taurice Cobbins of Chicago, Keyawn Davis-Cobbins of Janesville; grandchildren, Octavia Phillips Burton, Keanna Burton, Keyawn Burton, Drekwon Smith, Keyavian Walker-Cobbins, Keymarion Cobbins, Jequisha Taylor, David Clash, Joseph Taylor; her parents; siblings, Sammie Spann of Chicago, Ill., Roger (Terri) Spann of Maywood, Ill., Georgia Pope of Madison, Brenda Miller of Hanover Park, Ill., Arrie Wilson of Madison; nieces and nephews, Justin Pope, Julian Pope, Dyvonna Miller, Nathaniel Miller, Ginger Jones; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wilson. There will be a celebration of life held at CATHEDRAL BAPTIST CHURCH, 4821 S. Wabash Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60615, at 11 a.m on Saturday, June 2, 2012, with the Rev. Johnny McEwen presiding. Memorials may be made to the family.
