Obituary
OREGON-Thomas E. Sebastian, age 62, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 as a result of a courageous battle with cancer. His family was by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born on Sept. 27, 1949, in Chula Vista, Calif., the son of Dorothy L. ( Herrin) and William J. Louderback . After graduating from San Diego High School, Tom served with the United States Navy. He was united in marriage to a loving woman who was his constant and faithful caregiver always by his side throughout his battle with cancer, Maxine Starr on Sept. 21, 1991 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Tom worked in the bakery business in California for over 30 years, retiring in 2004 when they then moved to Wisconsin. He had a great love of the outdoors, especially enjoying fishing with his family on the Wisconsin lakes, ocean fishing with his brothers and Nascar. But what he truly loved the most was spending time with his family, he was a very proud father and grandfather. Tom will forever be remembered by his mother, Dorothy, his loving wife, Maxine; beloved children, Robert Charles Latuseck Jr., Taunya Starr (John) Lutz. Shannon Starr, Lisa (Eddie) Ball, Rodney Starr, and Lance (Vanessa) Sebastian; devoted brothers, Daniel (Betty) and James (Peggy) Sebastian; treasured grandchildren, Robert III, Jacob, Brenden, Ryan, Nathan, Sarah, Kyle, Conner, and Jaselle; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Tom was preceded in death by his father; and his mother-in-law, Genevieve M. Collins. Funeral services will be held at HILLCREST BIBLE CHURCH, 752 E. Netherwood Road, Oregon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012, with the Rev. Eric Vander Ploeg presiding, where military rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and also on Friday at the church from 3p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare , Inc. or to the Wm. S. Middleton Veteran’s Hospital. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hillcrest Bible Church, Dr. Wendy Ledesma of the VA Hospital, Dr. Sam Lubner of the UW Hospital and the staff of VA and UW Hospitals Oncology and Radiology departments and Agrace HospiceCare for their loving care of Tom. His constant good example, Always taught us right from wrong; Markers for our pathway That will last a lifetime long. We are our Fathers garden, We are his legacy. Thank you Dad we love you.
