Obituary

CROSS PLAINS–Vicki A. Helleckson, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Vicki was born on June 26, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Donald and Edna (Trenary) Mosure. She married Tom Helleckson on Sept. 28, 1991, at West Middleton Lutheran Church. Vicki was employed for 25 years at Dairy Food U.S.A. as a purchasing agent. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and her trips to Ho-Chunk with special friends, Carol and Jeanene. Vicki is survived by her husband, Tom; brother, Donald (Kay) Mosure of Florida; two brothers-in-law, John (Mary) Helleckson and Ted Helleckson; and many nieces and nephews. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Palmer and Angie Helleckson; sister, Yvonne (Jim) Zimpleman; and sister-in-law, Marita Helleckson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, and also from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held at the American Legion Hall Post 245, 2217 American Legion Drive, Cross Plains, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Memorials are suggested to the American Liver Foundation, 1845 N. Farwell Ave., Suite 312, Milwaukee, WI 53202, or Agrace HospiceCare. A special thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and the UW Hospital for their care of Vicki. . Cemetery: Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Tom and all of Vicki's Family, I am so sad to hear of Vicki's passing. We became friends over the six years that I worked with her. She was always so pleasant and positive, even in the midst of her illness. Vicki's Plastic Ingenuity family will all miss her. You have my sincere sympathy in this very difficult time. I was given many Aunts, but only 1 you, Vickie. I hold so many great memories with you! From music to sports and all the crazy gatherings in between, your heart was ALWAYS open, honest and bigger than life. I am going to miss you so very much. You can rest assured you meant so much to me. I love you and thank God we were able to share time together before you left. I pray for Uncle Tom's strength moving forward. To Tommy: Tommy We are so sorry to hear about your lost, It is so hard to let go of the ones we love, We have to keep in mind that this is only our temporary home. I hope you can smile at all the good times that you were allowed to share with Vicky, Wish we could of met her, You never had a bad thing to say about her, You always called her a Saint for putting up with you. LOL.Just remember to keep on telling those crazy jokes, smiling, and making those around you smile, I'm sure that would be her wish to you. take care we will be on contact soon, Call anytime !!!!!!!!!!!!
