Grace Hickman

MIDDLETON-Grace E. Hickman, age 92, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Blanchardville, the daughter of Syver and Bertha Holland. She was married to Edwin Hickman on July 8, 1939. Grace worked for many years for the Rennebohm Drug Company, and she also worked for 15 years for the United States Armed Forces Institute (U.S.A.F.I.). She was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Middleton. Grace is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin, three brothers, Kermit, John and Victor Holland and five sisters, Eleanor Moen, Margaret Holland, Dorothy Ellis, Maxine Johnson and Marion Barringer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. or a charity of your choice. Cemetery: Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
