Terrance G. Walls

STOUGHTON-Terrance “Terry” Walls, age 66, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, March 11, 2012, with his family by his side. Terry was born on March 23, 1945, in Madison, the son of Theodore and Gladys (Damm) Walls. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1963, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1963 until 1968. Terry married Suzanne “Sue” Kulzick on May 31, 1986. He was a hard worker, always wanting to provide the best for his family. Terry retired from the Village of McFarland on April 29, 2011. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Village of McFarland for many years. Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He loved to play poker and was a great story teller. He would light up a room with his personality, and would never turn down a steak dinner. Terry touched many lives and was looked up to by many, as a father figure. He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Sara (Andy Bishop) Hagen, of DeForest; son, Eric Walls of Lodi; step-son, Scott (Elizabeth) Kulzick of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Jack Hagen and Sam and Lucy Kulzick; brothers, LeRoy (Gay) Walls of Lodi and Dale Walls of Stoughton; sister, JoAnne Bingham of Stoughton; many nieces and nephews; and special neighbors, Michele Yazici and family and Beth and Thor Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne Walls. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare.
