Obituary

SUN PRAIRIE-Alice M. Heath, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Sun Prairie Health Care Center. She was born on December 27, 1923, in Dalton, Wis., the daughter of the late Archie and Margaret (Leahy) Foley. On April 8, 1944, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Hoyt Heath, in the parlor of the family farm in Buffalo township of Green Lake County. After helping Hoyt on the family farm Alice worked with the Del Monte Canning Company and the Humiston Keeling Drug Company. In 1965, Alice and Hoyt purchased the Windsor Grocery, which they ran until their retirement. After retirement they then helped manage the De Forest Garden Center and were both very active with the RSVP for over 22 years for which they received a dedication award for their service. They enjoyed gardening together and traveling, but treasured most the time spent with their family. They were members of the Arlington United Methodist Church for many years and are currently members of the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Hoyt Heath; three daughters, Sandra (Ervin) Stiemke, Barbara (Richard) Drake, Pamela (Dick) Silvers; six grandchildren, Jerred (Amanda) Stiemke, Julie (Steve) LaRiviere, Rodric (Sheri) Drake, Andrea (Ron) Kreger, Jennifer (B.J.) Finley and Sarah (Brian) Nelson; ten great-grandchildren, Griffin, Olivia and Axel Stiemke, Jasmine and Alyssa LaRiviere, Samantha Drake, Zachary and Brielle Finley, Kyiah and Brady Nelson. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Foley. Funeral services will be held at SUN PRAIRIE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 702 North Street, Sun Prairie at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2012, with the Reverend Frank Gaylord presiding. Private committal services will be held at Marcellon Cemetery in Pardeeville. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:30 PM until the time of the service at the church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Laura Zakowski and the staff of Sun Prairie Health Care Center for their loving care. Our dear, precious Aunt Alice~ Makes us so sad that you are gone. But at the same time we are happy that you have been called home. No more pain or suffering. Everyone who knew you will miss you so much. You did so much for so many and we all loved you!! You have always been our favorite. Our love to Uncle Hoyt. He too is our favorite.
