Obituary
MONONA-Gerald J. Finn, age 72, passed away on Friday Feb. 10, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on Oct. 25, 1939, in Madison, the son of Edward and Helen (Dunn) Finn. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. Jerry owned his own painting company for many years. He loved having lunches with his cousins, spending time with his family, playing the lottery, going to Ho-Chunk and cheering on the Brewers. Jerry is survived by his daughters, Kelly Finn and Kathy (Brice) Finn-Puetz; three grandchildren, Brianna, Kailey, and Jacob; sister, Mary Orvis; brothers, Robert of Nevada, Ron of Illinois, and Jack Finn; and many cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. A special thank you to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, Catherine Becker, Dr. Rosen, the staff at Waunakee Dean Clinic, the staff at St. Mary’s Renal Clinic, and Sylvan Crossings for their wonderful care and support of Jerry over the years. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and always be remembered for his quick wit.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding.
