Gest, Paulette A. MADISON-Paulette A. Gest, age 63, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on Dec. 10, 1948, in Madison, the daughter of Paul and Evelyn (Moore) Dyreson. She married Danny Gest on Feb. 20, 1971, in Madison. Paulette enjoyed knitting scarves and sweaters for people and pets, crocheting, plastic canvassing, playing dirty clubs and euchre, and traveling in their motor home. She loved her pets, and was a good neighbor to all. Paulette is survived by her husband, Danny; siblings, Randy Dyreson, John (Joan) Dyreson, Ann (Rick) Newell, Mike (Shelly) Dyreson, and Kathy Dyreson; stepmother, Trudy Dyreson; stepbrothers, Dan Fillner and Terry (Dawn) Fillner; stepsister, Judy Fillner; nieces and nephews, Travis, Trevor, Jonathan, Jacey, Jadyn, Jesse (Tricia), Jay (Jessica), Eve, Lacy, Jack, Josh, Danielle, Tammy, Jessica, and Sabrina; great-niece, Arianna; and is further survived by uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Evelyn Dyreson; and stepfather, Charlie Erickson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Cemetery: Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later date.
