Elmer Myron Johnson

MADISON -Elmer Myron Johnson, age 81, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012. He was born on Sept. 16, 1930, in Madison, the son of Elmer and Mabel Edith (Oyen) Johnson. He married Dolores Clara Johnson in Nov. 1954. Elmer was a welder for Giloman Trucking for many years. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin, hunting, fishing, and working on old cars. Elmer is survived by his sons, Mark (Beth) Johnson and Eric (Lynn Cassini) Johnson; daughter, Linda (Mike) Brewer; grandchildren, Michael (Audrey) Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Jake Brewer, Rachel Brewer, Claire and Emma Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dolores Clara Johnson in 2011; and his parents. Funeral services will be held at ST.JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1128 St. James Ct., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church, 1128 St. James Ct., Madison, WI 53715.
