Joyce Marie Brietzman,

STOUGHTON- Joyce M. Brietzman, age 79, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at home. She was born on Jan. 23, 1932, the daughter of Anton and Florice (Aikins) Kernler in Glidden. On Jan. 22, 1955, she was united in marriage with her husband, Walter, celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary in 2008. Joyce along with her husband, owned and operated Brietzman Realty in Stoughton for 20 years. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Brietzman; two daughters, Suanne (Herbert) Garske and Terri (Greg) Comstock, all of Stoughton; four grandchildren, Jaymos (Kelly) Brietzman, Ethan Brietzman, Ryan Olson and Kelly Olson; granddaughter-in-law, Alicia Tuite; and five great-grandchildren, Jaymos and Colton Brietzman, Haley Tuite, Riley Olson and Brayden Buchs. She is also survived by a sister, Darlene Einichner; and brother, Elvin Kernler, both of Milwaukee. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; grandson, Jarrod Tuite; parents; two sisters, Genevieve Roach and Lucille Rein; and one brother, Robert Kernler. Joyce’s wishes were to have no services and she will be cremated and buried at a later date with a private family service.
