Alice Jeanette Lock

STOUGHTON/ARENA - Alice (Denman) Lock, age 78, went to be with the Lord , on Saturday, Jan, 7, 2012. She was born on Nov. 22, 1933, to Lloyd and Minnie Denman and was the oldest of 11 children. Alice married Richard Lock on Nov. 8, 1952, and shared a long and happy 58 years together. She was the mother of nine children; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Alice was active in her church and choir. She was head cook in a private school and a baker in the public school system. Alice enjoyed serving others over the years. She loved her family and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, 400 Morris St., Stoughton, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. Internment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove. Visitation will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, and from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. A meal will be served in the friendship room at Skaalen directly following services at Highland Memory Gardens. Cemetery: Internment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove. Visitation will be held at SKAALEN HOME CHAPEL, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, and from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
