Lloyd R. Davidson

MADISON-Lloyd R. Davidson, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his home. He was born on July 21, 1932 in Madison, the son of John and Jessie (France) Davidson. Lloyd was united in marriage to JoAnn Seamonson on October 1, 1955. She preceded him in death on Feb. 4, 2011. He worked with the Wisconsin Dept. of Motor Vehicles for over 35 years and retired from Forest Products Laboratory. Lloyd was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. He was a dedicated father and grandfather who treasured the time spent with his family. Lloyd is survived by his three children, Diane (Raymond) Hammill, Dawn (Gurdip) Bakshi and Andrew (Sylvia) Davidson and four grandchildren, Ayla Hammill, Sarab and Tyler Bakshi and Sydney Davidson. In addition to his wife, Jo Ann, Lloyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Darcy Davidson, a sister Carol Dushack, and a brother Lawrence Davidson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with the visitation at 10:30 a.m., and luncheon to follow at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Ave, Madison, WI 53703.
