Obituary
MADISON- Mary Lee Kennedy, age 74, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Oak Park Place in Madison. She was born on Dec. 30, 1937, in Jefferson, the daughter of Leon and Gertrude (Weissman) Mundschau. On June 21, 1958, Mary married Thomas Kennedy at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. She enjoyed walking, bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary helped with various groups at St. Dennis Catholic Church. She also volunteered at the Luke House. Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas; children, Deborah (Charles) Wedl of Jefferson, Brian (Sue) Kennedy of Madison, Robert (Torrie) Kennedy of Stoughton, Michael (Pam) Kennedy of Morrisonville, Kathleen (Dan) Zadra of Madison and Laura (Chad) Pennings of Chilton; grandchildren, Heidi (Mario) Romero, Carter Wedl, Jacob and Justine Zadra, Taylor and Kristopher Kennedy and Kaleb Pennings; sister, Lois (John) Kikta of Downers Grove, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 5 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Dennis Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Agrace HospiceCare, Oak Park Place, St. Mary’s Hospital and the Respite/Care Team at St. Dennis for all of their loving care and help.

Dear Tom & Family, So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I did so enjoy talking to her each time she came into the dental office. I was the receptionist there for many many yrs. (Dr. Appels) I know she will be deeply missed by all of you. My prayers are with you.
