Obituary
MADISON- Ronald F. Peterson, age 78, passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. He was born on Dec. 4, 1933, in Portage, the son of Clarence and Margaret (Isberner) Peterson. On Oct. 19, 1957, Ron married Kay Bogert in Portage. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Ron worked for Research Products as a purchasing agent for more than 38 years. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Ron was an avid Packers and Badgers fan and was very athletic himself. He is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Tim (Pam); grandchildren, Evin Nicole and Rachael Ann; brothers, Harlan and Bernard Peterson; sister, Marge Haltom; and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his son, Daniel; parents; brother, Ken; and sister, Dorothy. Funeral services will be held at MESSIAH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5202 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church Building Fund. Special thank you to Dr. Al Musa, Dr. Ed Ahrens and also the Fitchburg Renal Center and St. Mary’s Hospital for all their wonderful care and support of Ron.

Kay and family, I am so sorry for your loss, I wish I could be there with you but i'm not able. I always think about you and ron and us kids growing up together.
