Thomas T. Taylor

DANE-Thomas T. Taylor, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011. He was born on Feb. 6, 1935, in Dane, the son of Albert and Sybilla (Dolfen) Taylor. He married Donna Marks on May 7, 1955. Thomas was a lifelong Dane farmer. He loved watching wrestling, animals, riding his gator, fishing and gardening. Thomas is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Connie (Harry) Winter, Sharon (Greg Hirsch) Schroeder, Kevin (Barb) Taylor, Denise (Don) Dohm, Diane (Dave) Johnson, Brian (Cindy) Taylor, Steve (Hollis Nichols) Taylor, Kathy (Kevin) Haarklau, Dennis Taylor, Sandra (Todd) Phipps, Roger (Kristina) Taylor, Bonnie (Russ) Niesen, Tom (Tricia) Taylor Jr., Mary (Dean) Miller, Donna (Brian) Meister, Bill Taylor, Darlene (Jeff) Selinske; daughter-in-law, Kari Taylor; 41 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Nonn, Ruby Ann Taylor, Shirley (Ken) Hollfelder; brothers, Norman Taylor Sr. and Jerry Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Jeff and Richard Taylor; and grandchildren, Justin Haarklau and Angela Johnson. Funeral services will be held at ST. MICHAEL’S, 111 S. Military Road, Dane, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, with Father Francisco Higuera presiding. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 109 S. Main St., Lodi, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, with a rosary service at 8 p.m.. Visitation will also be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorials may be made to the church or Home Health United Hospice in Baraboo. A special thank you to the staff at Home Health United Hospice and the staff at St. Mary’s for the care they gave Tom. Cemetery: Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
