I can't express my sympathy enough. Joe was always smiling - is what I remember. I saw Joe about a year or so ago as I was driving through Cherokee and almost drove right by him as he was out in the yard. It was so nice to see his smiling face. I remember Joe as always being kind to everyone and having a positive attitude.
I was part of the "group" in high school and we had alot of good times.
What a tragic loss of someone so young and vibrant. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am a High School friend of Joe's brother,Jim. I was blessed with the opportunity to share a breakfast gathering with Jim and Joe this past Christmas Eve morning. Getting to know Joe at this point in his life was inspiring. Joe was facing this difficult time in his life with real dignity and class. I truly regret his passing and not having been able to meet him sooner. Karen and I send our sincere condolences to Jim and all of Joe's family and friends.
