MADISON-Cheryl A. Marotz, age 64, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on March 26, 1947, in Ripon, the daughter of Martin and Irene (Jahnke) Marotz. She graduated from East High School and worked for American Family Insurance for 40 years. Cheryl enjoyed knitting, traveling, loved flowers, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Irene; siblings, David Marotz, Rosemary (Thomas) Brunner, Larry (Pat) Marotz, Joan Marotz, and Bill (Jan) Marotz; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and some dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin. Private services will be held with close family and friends at a later date. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or charity of donor’s choice.

I will miss my friend. Cheryl will always be close to me in my heart! She was a very giving, caring soul. She always had a smile for me. May she rest in peace. My prayers go out to her family. Cheryl was a very unique woman and it was a pleasure knowing her.
