Obituary
MADISON-Rick E. Remus, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, unexpectedly at UW Hospital. He was born on April 2, 1952, in Delavan, the son of Edward and Shirley (Girard) Remus. Rick had a lifelong passion with cars. He enjoyed building and showing cars, and going to car shows. Rick also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Chris; daughter, Michelle; six grandchildren, Ariana, Caden, Maurice, Terence, Jerome and Jayla; former wife, Gayle Remus; two sisters, Deb Adams and Randi Rice; a brother, Bob Remus; and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012. A special thank you to the staff at UW Hospital and Wisconsin Dialysis Clinic for their care and compassion for Rick.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012.

I have been blessed to have had you in my life for over 21 years. You have given me love, guidence, and answers to many questions I have had throughout my adult life. I will miss going to breakfast with you when you would pick me up as well as going out and shooting pool. I will always cherish the times we shared together and I will continue to share your life's passions with my children and future grandchildren. I love you Dad and will miss you forever.
