HANSEN, ELIZABETH (Libbie) FOX RIVER GROVE, IL/MIDDLETON,WI-Elizabeth “Libbie” Hansen, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2011 at Oak Park Place. She was born on July 4, 1917 in Chicago, IL., the daughter of Josef and Anna Hudek. On June 15, 1940, Libbie was united in marriage to Irvin (Scotty) Hansen in Cary, IL. She graduated from Crystal Lake High School, Illinois. Libbie was active in area senior citizen groups, worked at Bell’s Apple Orchard, and enjoyed gardening, fishing and music but treasured most the time spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Totten; her son-in-law, Tom Totten, grand dog, Belle; a sister, Bessie; nieces, Joanne Rick and Joyce Pepper; great-nieces, Karen Rick and Kristie Marsala and great-great-niece, Katelyn Marsala. Libbie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Irvin”Scotty” in 1990; her parents and two sisters, Rose DeSmith and Marian Pepper. Graveside services will be held at WINDRIDGE CEMETERY, 7014 S. Rawson Ridge Rd., Cary, Illinois at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 16, 2011, with Pastor Sandra Gaylord presiding. Family and friends may call on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. 5395 E.
