Obituary
MIDDLETON/SAUK PRAIRIE-Randall J. Brickl, age 56, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at his home from brain cancer. Randy was united in marriage to Cheryl Croft on March 23, 1996. In 1991, Randy started his own business, Brickline, Inc., a road painting company, with his wife Cheryl and his brother Tom. Work was a huge part of Randy’s life and he put a lot of his energy into everything he did. He was always there for everyone and willing to help them as long as they were willing to help themselves. Randy loved his Harley and the journey’s traveled with all his friends. He loved life and treasured the many friends that he made along the road. He also loved the winter as long as he went to the Carribean and his occasional trips to Vegas. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; his children, Sara Schultz, Jesse (Jennifer) Brickl, Aaron (Char) Asperheim, Jamie (Tony) Stiklestad, Jackie (Scott) Ballweg; his father and step-mother, Norbert (Rita) Brickl; 15 grandchildren, his siblings, Darla Brickl, Tim (Cheri) Brickl, Tom (Anne) Brickl, Terry (Janiece) Brickl, Jeff (Barb) Brickl, Linda (Terry) Busse, Cindy (Ted) Norman, Charlie Raisbeck and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Brickl, a brother, Allen Brickl, mother and father-in-law, Andy (Helen) Anderson and a brother-in-law, Rob Anderson. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 11, 2011, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and also on Friday, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Dear Cheryl,
Paul and I send our love and sympathy. I enjoyed Randy's humor and support during our work together for the neighborhood. He was a honest and genuine guy. He will be missed. Let us know if there is anything you need, now and especially in the future.
