My love and prayers surround you in the loss of an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. She was a treasured friend and our loss is deep. We are resurrection people so we know she is with the Lord in the hollow of God's hand. I thank God for the friendship we had. I regret I will not be with you as you celebrate her life.I will be out of town, visiting family from Norway. You do not need me, but I very much need to be with you to honor our dear Cynthia.

Bruce and Family, I'm so, so sorry. I was at the Dar al Kalima College with Rana Khoury in the library and the rest of that amazing building on Friday, November 11 -- a miracle of a school realized by dreamers like Mitri and Cynthia. This morning we'll worship at Christmas Lutheran. Cynthia and all of you will be close to my heart. Praying that you walk through these days surrounded by grace.

Bruce and Family, Deepest thoughts and prayers are extended to you and your family at this time. It was an honor to have known you and Cynthia when you were in Boscobel and hosting you at our house. Tom died one year ago on September 15 and I miss him deeply each day. I know you will be surrounded with family and friends as I have been as God will always hold our hand. A memorial will be forwarded to the Synod office. Blessings to you, Suzanne Bartels
