George Alan Kennedy

MARSHALL- George A. Kennedy, age 61, of Marshall, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at his home. He was born on Jan. 6, 1950, in Milwaukee. George graduated from Milwaukee Custer High School in 1968. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy until 1974. George married Cheryl Dalsoren on May 10, 1981, in Madison. He worked as a shipping supervisor at Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie for 30 years. George was an avid Packers and Badgers fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing video games, and doing the Sunday crossword puzzle. George is survived by his wife, Cheryl; two daughters, Amanda Kennedy (Matthew Dement) and Abigail Kennedy; son, Quinton Kennedy; and sister, Graceann (David) Macleod. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Krieg. Graveside services will be held at HIGHLAND MEMORY GARDENS, 3054 County Road BB, Cottage Grove, at 2:15 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from noon until 2 p.m. Cemetery: Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
