Antonia Mukanturo

McFarland - Antonia Mukanturo, age 78, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011. A survivor of the Rwanda Genocide of 1994, Antonia came to the United States of America in 2007. She is survived by her son, Evariste (Clementine Uwamahoro) Kalisa; daughters, Gorretti (Francois Murangira) Dusabamahoro, Jeann d’Arc Tuyishimire and Eujenie Mukantwali and 18 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francois Nkulikiyimfura; daughters, Francoise Niwemutoni and Sophie Twemerende; sons, Aimable Rutaganira, Jean Nepomucene Uwizera and Charles Uwihoreye. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5306 Main Street, McFarland at 11a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
