Maria Dawn Knickmeier

When I left CUNA, Maria gave me a page from her desk calendar and it remains on my kitchen wall to this day. The saying...Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. Maria has imprinted her footprints into many hearts. Randy and Rachael, my heart goes out to you at this time. May God bless all of you.

Ria, as we called her in high school, was a good friend. She wrote a special note to me last year while I was fighting breast cancer. The obituary describes her perfectly. I pray that God bless you Randy, Rachael and all family members at this difficult time! May he bless you "through this storm".

Maria was a giving and caring friend and neighbor. I'll never forget how she welcomed me to my new home by sending Rachel down with some goodies and a handmade card.
