Rosenstiel, Harvey A. MCFARLAND-Harvey A. Rosenstiel, age 67, of McFarland, passed away of cancer on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at home with family and his precious dogs by his side. He was born on June 2, 1944, in Monroe, the son of Glen and Viola (Rufer) Rosenstiel. Harvey graduated from Monroe High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Linda Spring on Jan. 23, 1972, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Monroe. Harvey was a licensed cheesemaker until becoming a truck driver with Whitehead Trucking for 27 years, and with Bunch Trucking for nine years. Harvey retired from trucking in June of 2006. In his retirement he worked part time for Midwest Motor Express. Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Mindy (Ryan) Ringgenberg of McFarland, Michelle (Matthew) Harris of Homer, Alaska, and Marcus (Amy) Rosenstiel of Drifton, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and nine siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with Harvey’s wishes, no traditional services will be held. A memorial gathering will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr., Monona, from 10 a.m. until Noon, on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. “We will miss you, may you be at peace. We love you.” In accordance with Harvey’s wishes, no traditional services will be held. Harvey was such a gentle person. My parents Arnold and Florence Zumkehr and Harvey's parents were friends.
