Catherine Joanne McDonald

WAUNAKEE-Catherine J. McDonald, age 84, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Sylvan Crossing in Waunakee. She was born on January 17, 1927, in Ennis, Texas, the daughter of Randolph and Katie (Sims) Foster. Catherine was united in marriage to Charles “Lee” Holt, Jr. in Texas. He preceded her in death. She then married Edward Wieben in Atlanta, GA., who also preceded her in death. Catherine was then married to Russell McDonald in San Antonio, TX., he too preceded her in death. Catherine was a wonderful care giver and enjoyed knitting. She is survived by a son, Charles L. Holt (Chuck), grandson, Michael R. (Sherri) Holt; two great-grandsons, Nathan and William; a brother, Randolph Foster, Jr.; a niece, Carol Foster Kennedy, a nephew, Nelson Foster and friend, Kathy Holt. In addition to her husbands, Catherine was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 27,2011. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Myrtle Cemetery, Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
