MADISON- Michelle M. Pickarts, age 43, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, from an apparent heart attack. She was born on July 9, 1968, the daughter of Ole and Elaine Olson. Michelle graduated from Oregon High School. She married Joe Pickarts on Sept. 19, 1992, in Madison. Michelle was a strong, independent women. She was a loving and giving person with a huge heart who was always thinking of others. Michelle was fiercely loyal to her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her sons (her pride and joy). Michelle loved going to their football games over the years and watching Troy coach fourth grade football. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, going to garage sales and spoiling her nieces and nephews. Michelle loved animals and especially her dogs. She is survived by her husband, Joe; two sons, Jesse and Troy; father, Ole Olson; sister, Stephanie Chacon; two brothers, Mark Olson and David (Ami) Olson; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; and grandparents. Memorial services will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 12 noon, on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
