In 1968 he served as one of the Wisconsin delegates to the Republican National Convention. At 15, I remember reading Catcher In The Rye, hating St John's Military Academy, but really enjoying time with my Uncle Dick who shared his heart--a heart that beat to a different drummer--the rhythm of the renaissance man. He was a great mentor. My family and I will keep you all in our prayers knowing that he will be missed. The accolaides are all His now. Love, Jeff, Teri, Jeffrey and Salem
