MADISON-Genevieve Rose Barlow, age 71, a resident of Madison for the past 20 years, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, in Madison. She was born on March 6, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of George and Rose (Spencer) Beck. Genevieve was united in marriage to Rudy Barlow Sr. She was a military wife and they were married for 25 years. Genevieve was a clothing designer and seamstress, and an entrepreneur, active in community affairs. She was dedicated to her family as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Genevieve is survived by four children, Dr. Gerry (Robert) Davis, Rudy (Shavay) Barlow Jr., Rondino Barlow, and Hope Barlow;16 grandchildren;8 great-grandchildren;one great great-grandchild; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Cemetery: Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011.
